Mental Health Resources for B.C. Educators
Healthy Minds BC provides educators in British Columbia with school-based prevention and early intervention strategies for supporting student mental health. Soon, resources for more audiences, including parents and caregivers, will be added.
About Our Team
We are part of the Ministry of Children and Family Development’s Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) Policy Branch, a multidisciplinary team that supports CYMH services and related research across three intervention tiers: universal, targeted and intensive.
We’ve been providing accessible and evidence-informed anxiety and resilience-building resources for educators since 2004.
Prevention and Early Intervention Strategies
Our mandate is to provide school-based prevention and early intervention resources. While we plan to expand into other aspects of mental health, our current focus is on anxiety, as it’s the most prevalent mental health concern among children and youth in B.C.
