Mental health challenges can impact students’ ability to learn as well as their social and emotional development. It is important to teach students both coping skills and how to manage everyday mental health. The evidence-informed, curriculum-aligned courses offered here provide strategies for K–12 students while contributing to the mental health literacy of educators.
The classroom resources and lesson plans are designed to fit into existing school routines and practices—to benefit all students. While they are designed for classroom teachers, they can be adapted for use by school counsellors, administrators and support staff.
The Everyday Anxiety Strategies for Educators (EASE) K – 7 and 8 – 12 courses and accompanying classroom resources are in the process of being revised to ensure relevancy and to reflect current themes in education.
