WALKING ALONGSIDE YOUTH - AN ONLINE ANXIETY COURSE

Walking Alongside Youth Advisory Group

The Walking Alongside Youth (WAY) Advisory Group was established to include voices from the community in the creation and delivery of the WAY online course and resources, and to ensure that WAY upholds the principles of the Aboriginal Policy and Practice Framework to meet the needs of the communities it is intended for.

The WAY Advisory Group is composed of a cross-section of volunteer partners from the community, including youth, Elders, knowledge keepers, parents, caregivers, service providers and representatives from the Ministry for Children and Family Development, who participate in bimonthly meetings to review progress, provide input into the course content, and promote continuous improvement.

The Advisory Group has been involved at all stages of the course’s development from conception and development to implementation and evaluation.
