Registration

Click on the green “Sign Up Now” button at the top of your screen. Fill in the form to create an account. Save your log-in details to return to a course at any time.
You need to sign up for an account if you wish to take any of the online courses. Having an account will also allow you to save your course progress and return to it later. If you do not wish to take a course, you do not need an account.
Once you have signed up for an account, you will automatically be enrolled in courses you are eligible to take. You can access the courses by logging in and going to your dashboard.
It may take up to 30 minutes for account requests to be fully processed. Once your request has been processed, you will receive an email from the site administrator with log-in instructions. Then you can log in to your dashboard using the username and password you created when you signed up.
Please note that the automated email may end up in your junk/spam folder, so please check there.
The automated approval email may end up in your junk/spam folder. Try logging in with your username and password. Please note that it may take up to one hour for your account to be created. If after 30 minutes you still cannot log in, please note the error message that appears and contact osbc.online@gov.bc.ca for support.
No. You only need to sign up once. Once your request has been processed, you will have access to the courses you are eligible to take.
Accounts

The system allows a maximum of three log-in attempts. Once three attempts have been made, users will be locked out of the system for 15 minutes. Additional log-in attempts can be made after 15 minutes. If three more unsuccessful attempts are made after the 15-minute period, users will be locked out of the system for 24 hours.
No. There is no need to delete your account, as access will not expire. You can take your course(s) at a future date if you wish.
If you do want to delete your account, please contact osbc.online@gov.bc.ca for assistance.
If you are logged in, go to your dashboard and click on the “Update Password” button.
If you are not logged in, use the “Lost your password?” link on the log-in page. Enter the email address you used to sign up, and a password reset email will be sent to you. Follow the instructions in the email to update your password. This automated email may end up in your junk/spam email folder. If you cannot locate the email, contact osbc.online@gov.bc.ca for support.
Courses

Course access never expires. You can also enter and leave any of your completed or in– progress courses whenever you wish and as often as needed.
No. All courses are offered free of charge.
The software or browser you are using may affect your display capabilities. Software requirements include either Windows 7 or greater, or Mac OS X Snow Leopard or newer. Chrome, Firefox and Safari are the recommended browsers. Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer are not recommended browsers.
Once you have signed up for an account, you will automatically be enrolled in the courses you are eligible to take. Access these courses by logging in and going to your dashboard. If you believe you are eligible for a course but don’t see it on your list of available courses, please contact osbc.online@gov.bc.ca.
Yes. You can revisit course materials by logging in and going to your dashboard. From there you can navigate to the course’s downloads page.
You will need basic-level computer skills to complete a HealthyMindsBC course. If you have an email account or you have shopped online, you will be able to navigate an online course.
To complete courses on HealthyMindsBC, you will need the following hardware and software:
Hardware:
- A computer (courses will still work on mobile devices, but the experience will not be optimal)
- Keyboard
- Mouse
- Speakers (your computer speakers or external speakers)
Software:
- Operating system: Windows 7 or greater; OS X Snow Leopard or newer
- Recommended browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari
- Browsers not recommended: Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer
Internet:
Reliable high-speed internet connection (3 Mbps or better)

NEW EASE K-7 Course

The online EASE K–7 course and resources were developed in 2020. They needed to be updated to include the latest research and current educational practices, fostering inclusive classroom and school environments, and enhanced to ensure that they remain relevant for B.C. educators.
The revised EASE K–7 course will be available on the HealthyMindsBC website on April 15, 2026.
- New videos of B.C. educators sharing their perspectives and their experiences with using EASE in the classroom
- Enriched Indigenous perspectives, and diversity and inclusion principles and practices
- Revised EASE lessons, available both throughout the course and in a complete package that can be downloaded at the end of the course
- New “Teaching Notes” and “Why Does This Matter?” sections
- Expanded additional resources (in addition to picture books) to include videos and other digital resources
No. The original EASE K–7 course was permanently removed from the HealthyMindsBC website on April 9, 2026, and replaced with the revised EASE K–7 course on April 15, 2026.
All educators enrolled in the original EASE K–7 course were sent an email on March 19, 2026, and a reminder email on April 2, 2026, with information about how to download their certificate of completion.
No. If you are a B.C. educator and you have an existing HealthyMindsBC account, you’ll be automatically enrolled in the revised EASE K–7 course.
You can access the course by logging in to your HealthyMindsBC account, using your existing log-in credentials and password. You will see the revised EASE K–7 course on your dashboard.
Since this is a new EASE course, your progress will show as 0% and will reset to the beginning of the new course.
To sign up for an account, go to the HealthyMindsBC home page and click on the green “Sign Up Now” button at the top right of the screen. Fill in the “Create Your Account” form and then click on “Sign Up Now.” Be sure to save your log-in details in a safe place so you can return to the course at any time.
Reminder: Users only need to sign up once.
Yes. The revised EASE K–7 lessons are located throughout the course, with the corresponding course content. They are also available at the end of the course in a downloadable package.
No. The revised EASE K–7 course and lessons are not yet available in French. They will be translated into French during the 2026/27 school year and should be available to B.C. educators in September 2027.
Note: the original EASE K-7 course and lessons that were translated into French a few years ago will remain available until the 2027 French translation of the revised EASE K-7 course and lessons become available.
